Information we collect
We may collect account details such as your email address, username, profile information, wishlist activity, reviews, order history and information needed to provide customer support.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. AFROCITY does not store full payment card details. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud-prevention and transaction information under its own privacy practices.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the marketplace, authenticate accounts, process orders, provide purchased products, prevent abuse, improve services, communicate important account information and comply with legal obligations.
Supabase and service providers
AFROCITY uses service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and storage services, Stripe for payments, and hosting or communication providers needed to operate the marketplace.
Cookies and local storage
The marketplace may use cookies and browser local storage to maintain sessions, store cart contents, remember preferences, protect accounts and support core functionality.
Data sharing
Personal information is not sold. Information may be shared with trusted service providers, professional advisers or authorities where necessary to operate the service, prevent fraud, enforce agreements or comply with law.
Data retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and satisfy legal or accounting obligations.
Security
AFROCITY uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. However, no internet service can guarantee complete security, and users should protect their account credentials.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain uses of your personal information. Requests may be submitted through official AFROCITY support channels.
